Start point   Pokhara  –  end   pokhara. Annapurna Base camp Trek is known as Annapurna Sanctuary. Mountainous region in the north central of Nepal comprising series of peaks which includes the 10th highest peak Annapurna I. Along with thirteen peaks above 8000 m, range and 16 other over 7,000m. Also the entire surrounding area of the Annapurna region is protected by the Annapurna Conservation Area Project within the 7,639 kilometer square range. This is the first and largest conversation area of Nepal. Laying at the east of Kali Gandaki separating from Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I is considered the most dangerous Mountain range in the world many mountaineers have tried to conquer the mountain and since 2007 statistics shows that fatality ratio of this peak is 38% which is the highest among any mountain above eight Thousand meters. The Annapurna Conversation Area organizes several world class trekking.

Day 1 : Pick up in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel

Welcome greeting at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu by the representative from Wild Stone Adventure. You will then transfer to the Hotel for refreshment where you will be served with welcome drinks. Depending on your interest and condition you can either rest, hang around the street or visit our office for rest of the day.

Day 2 : Kathmandu sightseeing, trek briefing and preparation

We will start guided tour to several major historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu Valley. The tour cover UNESCO World Heritage Sites including historical Durbar Square, Sacred Hindu Temple (Pahupati Nath) ,popular monkey Temple (Swayambhunath) and Buddhists Shrine (Buddha Nath). After completion of city tour you will meet with guide and other helping staffs, you will be explained with nature of your trek and your trekking gears will be checked.

Day 3 : Drive Kathmandu – Pokhara

Early morning breakfast at Hotel and we will leave Kathmandu at around 7 am .The drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara follows the upstream of Trishuli River offering greeneries, farms and beautiful mountain sceneries taking about six hours.Afternoon we will explore the various sites of Pokhara. Pokhara is tourist’s paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with mountains. You can observe views to the north across the hills and Phewa Tal (lake) to the white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Drive Time : 6 hours

Day 4 : Drive Pokhara – Naya Pul – Tikhedhunga (1577m)

Drive from Pokhara to trek start point Naya Pul.From Naya Pul we follow the south bank of the river passing through forests to Tikhadunga via Birethanti. Enroute we will see more of countryside of Nepal that offers greeneries, rivers, villages, farms and beautiful mountain sceneries.

Day 5 : Trek Tikhedhunga – Ghorapani (2750m)

We make steep ascend to Ulleri and ascent gently to Ghorepani passing through Magar Villages. Ghorapani is famous trekker’s stop with small shops for selling local crafts and products.

Day 6 : Morning Hike to Poon Hill and trek to Tadapani (2700m)

Early morning we climb the steep trail to the famous viewpoint of Poon Hill to enjoy the sunrise over Mt. Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Mt. Annapurna I , Annapurna South , Annapurna III , Machhapuchhare (Fishtail.) and other numerous snowcapped mountain peaks. After a breakfast at Ghorepani we descend throughpasses through the blazing rhododendron and oak forest, picturesque waterfalls making our way to Tadapani for overnight.

Day 7 : Trek Tadapani – Chhomrong (2170m)

Today we make a descent all the way through rhododendron, oak and other kinds of dense forests. Then we make up and down to Chuile from where we steep climb up to Chhomrong.Chhomrong is a gateway to Annapurna Sanctuary trek and inhabited by Gurung, one of the major ethnic groups of Nepal.

Day 8 : Trek Chhomrong –Dovan (2580m)

Leaving Chhomrong, the trail descends into the Modi Khola leaving the inhabited village behind.We cross the suspension bridge over the khola and then ascent fo Sinuwa Danda from where we descend through the deep forest of rhododendron and bamboo. Finally we end our day at Dovan.

Day 9 : Trek Dovan – Deurali (3230m)

We trek gently through deep bamboo forests with varieties of rhododendron and oak trees. Passing through the Himalayan Hotel, the trail steeply ascends to Hinko Cave (3160m). Climbing further arrive Deurali where we will stay for overnight.

Day 10 : Trek Deurali-Machhapuchhare Base Camp (3700m)

We start our trek to Machhapuchre Base Camp (MBC). Leaving Deurali we take a gentle climb up to Bagar. The hike to MBC from Bagar is somewhat strenuous but the unfolding views of the majestic Machhapuchre are certainly a rewarding experience. Enjoy the views of Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gangapurna and, of course, the Fishtail or Machhapuchhare itself.

Day 11 : Trek Machhapuchhare Base Camp – Annapurna Base Camp (4130m)

From here, the valley widens and becomes less steep and we can see the gates to the sanctuary. As the trail continues into the sanctuary, it crosses two avalanche tracks on a narrow trail. The normal trail follows the left side of the valley through alpine meadow and after some distance goes gently up. After a short trek, you begin to approach Annapurna Base Camp (4130m.). Annapurna Base Camp offers the sensational views of Annapurna I, Machhapuchre (fishtail), Annapurna South , Mt. Himchuli, Annapurna III, Gangapurna and the mesmerizing mountain panorama of almost 360 degree.

Day 12 : Trek Annapurna Base Camp – Bamboo(2310m)

After breakfast, we start descending to Dovan tracking back the MBC, Deurali and finally to Dovan.It’s much easier going down. We pass through the waterfalls, forests with great views of Machhapuchre (Fishtail) and Mt. Himchuli.

Day 13 : Trek Bamboo – Jhinu Hot Springs (1780m)

The path descends to Bamboo, passing through forests with varieties of rhododendron, oaks and bamboo plants. After Bamboo, the trail goes steeply up to the Kuldi Ghar where it becomes quite flat until you reach Sinuwa. From here, it gradually descends to the Chhumrong Khola where you will follow a stone staircase for almost an hour to reach Chhumrong. The last part of the trail is a steep descent to Jhinudanda. From Jhinu Danda we walk down for 20 minutes to reach Hot Springs at the bank of the Modi Khola to enjoy the hot bath in natural hot spring.

Day 14 : Trek Jhinu – Nayapul (1010m) and drive to Pokhara

The trail gradually descends all the way to Birethanti along the bank of Modi Khola. En- route, you pass through forests, rice terraces, waterfalls and green scenarios. Birethanti is a small town with a few lodges, shops and human settlements. Now, you walk for almost twenty minutes over a flat path up to Nayapul (New Bridge). From Nayapul we board a local vehicle to drive back to Pokhara. Enjoy evening walk along the Phewa Lake and also take a boat around the lake.

Day 15 : Rest and Explore Pokhara

Early morning we drive to the Sarangkot to have the sunrise views over the spectacular with Himalayas . After breakfast we will continue our sightseeing to the Devi’s fall, Mahendra cave, Vindhyabashini temple and White river (Seti Gorge). Enjoy evening walk along the Phewa Lake and also take a boat around the lake. Day 16 Drive Pokhara – Kathmandu

After breakfast, we start our drive back to Kathmandu.While on the drive you can enjoy the mountain views, green sceneries, rice terrace fields, vegetable fields. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will get transferred to our hotel for the refreshment and in evening you will pick up for the cultural dinner together with the Wild Stone Adventure staffs.

Day 17 : Farewell

Your Annapurna Sanctuary Trek 17 days has come end. Wild Stone Adventure representative will transfer you to International airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight.
